The California Student Voting Summit promotes civic learning and engagement on campuses throughout the state by providing workshops and panels of local and national experts in student voting, campus organizing, and civic education. Student voting more than doubled from 2014 to 2018 according to the Institute for Democracy and Higher Education and students have the potential to continue to impact elections in 2020. 

 

Together at the summit, we will reexamine, reaffirm, reenergize, and recommit to the best practices that build civic capacity in our students and create effective civic campuses at our home institutions.
